- Fount of Mercy
- Fount of Mercy works with local East African organizations, building their capacity to provide educational and vocational opportunities for their communities' vulnerable. Strategically, Fount trains local leaders in culturally relevant curriculum, co-leads services in the community and provides follow-up evaluation and monitoring.
Fount of Mercy has been working with The Aids Orphan Support Trust (TAOST) since 2006.
We are happy to say that four years into our partnership TAOST has made some incredible progress in both educational and vocational development.
Within these four year, TAOST, in partnership with Fount of Mercy, has accomplished the following:
1. Relocated their school to a ministry approved building (see before and after pics)
2. Hired a qualified principal.
3. Obtained Ugandan Ministry of Education curriculum and are teaching said curriculum in their classrooms.
4. Provided uniforms for their entire student population.
5. Doubled their student population.
